Angela & Greg | Wedding Highlights

Angela & Greg's wedding day, complete with a few magical Disney touches, was truly a fairytale come true! Though the rain threw us a bit of a curveball, everything turned out so beautiful and personal.

"I think the best part of the wedding day for me was our ceremony when we told our vows," Angela said. "I told him I didn’t want to hear them until the wedding day and it made it really special for me."

When I asked when Greg knew Angela was The One, he told me, "It takes me a while to warm up to people, but once I do I just know." It took Angela about two months before she realized it. "I knew in my heart that I found the one I was supposed to be with and I knew he would be worth the wait."

I always ask how my couples met each other, and I've heard just about every variation you can imagine! Greg and Angela met through OKCupid, but Angela wasn't so sure they'd be a match at first.

"When I came across Greg’s profile, it was him sitting on the beach with his shirt off and sunglasses on. I thought that he kind of looked like a tool so I swiped left." Angela recounted. "But I had this gut feeling that I should go back, so I did and swiped right. After some talking, we decided to get together for a breakfast date. We had a great first date!"

"I actually ruined the proposal twice." Angela laughs at the memory. "Greg said, 'I haven’t made dinner, do you want to go to Eggspectations?' I didn’t have a good day at work, so I snapped back, 'Why would we go there? It’s not even open. I am going to take a shower.' In the shower, I realized what he was going to do and I freaked out."

"I wasn’t really nervous because I knew she’d say yes, but I was excited," Greg said, recounting the proposal.

"I took my time to pull myself together before coming out of the bathroom," Angela said. "I opened the door and saw him on one knee and he asked, 'Rajah (our cat) and I were wondering if you would marry me?'

"Of course my comeback was 'But I’m in a towel!' I eventually said, “Yes!"
